The Draftsman's Art: Master Drawings from the National Gallery of Scotland
December 2000–June 2001

Michael Clarke, guest curator, is keeper of the National Gallery of Scotland.

Including eighty drawings from the distinguished collection of the National Gallery of Scotland, this exhibition, curated by Michael Clarke, surveyed five centuries of drawing by British, Dutch, Flemish, French, German, and Italian artists. The selection featured the work of masters such as William Blake, François Boucher, Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, Raphael, Peter Paul Rubens, and Leonardo da Vinci, among others.

Exhibition Itinerary: Frick Collection (December 12, 2000–February 25, 2001) and Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (March 16–June 10, 2001).
