The Poetry of Place: Works on Paper by Thomas Moran from the Gilcrease Museum
February 2001–September 2001

Lorem Ipsum, is the curator of the exhibition.

Born in England, Thomas Moran (1837–1926) is widely acclaimed as one of America's foremost landscape painters. Comprising approximately eighty works, including Moran's watercolors and field sketches, which he produced both for his own pleasure and in preparation for paintings, prints, and commissions, this exhibition, curated by Anne Morand and Donna Gustafson, documented his wide-ranging interests and provided insights into his creative process.

Exhibition Itinerary: Frick Art & Historical Center (February 9–May 8, 2001) and Joslyn Art Museum (June 30–September 23, 2001).

The exhibition is organized by the American Federation of Arts and the Gilcrease Museum, Tulsa.
